Our approach starts with measurement, not guessing. A full nervous system scan and digital X-rays show us exactly where the interference is, then we use Torque Release Technique to make precise, instrument-based adjustments to the upper cervical spine. For headaches that imaging traces to a pinched cervical nerve or compressed disc, we add Cervi-Trac decompression — the FDA-cleared cervical attachment for our Back On Trac system — to give the nerve the room it needs to recover.

When the headache is mechanical — meaning it traces back to upper cervical misalignment, muscle tension patterns, or nerve irritation — correction is the goal, not management. Patients regularly tell us their headaches went from daily to occasional to gone. We can’t promise that for every case. But your scans tell us early whether your headaches have a mechanical cause we can address, and we’ll be straight with you either way.
Medications and most neurological care address symptoms or chemical pathways — reducing inflammation, blocking pain signals, modulating brain activity. We address mechanics. If the cause of your headaches is a misaligned upper cervical vertebra or a compressed nerve, no amount of medication will fix that, because medication isn’t designed to. We complement neurological care, not replace it — and a lot of our patients keep both in their plan, just with far fewer headaches to medicate.
It depends on how long they’ve been a pattern and what’s driving them. Some patients feel a real shift within the first few visits. Patterns that have been around for years — especially migraines — usually take several weeks of consistent care before they break. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at your first visit based on your scans, not vague promises.
Not every headache is mechanical. Some have hormonal, vascular, or other neurological roots that chiropractic care won’t resolve. The whole point of starting with a full evaluation and imaging is to know which kind you have. If your scans suggest the cause is outside what we can address, we’ll tell you straight and refer you to whoever can help — rather than have you spend months under our care for something that isn’t our specialty.
The technique is the same — gentle, instrument-based TRT adjustments — but the care plan and the realistic expectations differ. Tension headaches are more often purely mechanical, and they tend to respond faster. Migraines have a stronger neurological component, so we’re working to reduce nervous system stress alongside addressing any structural triggers. Patterns ease, frequency drops, and many migraine patients report their attacks becoming both less frequent and less severe over the course of care.
