Why Older Adults Choose Us

Nine years of treating
patients over 65

Your History Isn’t a Complication
We’ve been treating San Antonio since 2017, and patients over 65 fill a good part of our schedule every week. Arthritic joints, decades-old injuries, spines that have already been operated on — that’s familiar ground here, not a complication.
In-Network With Medicare
We’ll check your benefits before your first visit and tell you plainly what’s covered. Not using Medicare? We take most major cards and offer payment plans.
We Look Before We Treat
A physical exam, a radiation-free nerve scan, and digital X-rays when they’re needed. What we recommend comes out of your imaging, not out of an assumption about your age.
No Twisting, No Cracking
We use Torque Release Technique: a handheld instrument delivers the adjustment, one segment at a time. Nothing sudden, nothing forceful. That matters if you’ve got thinning bones or hardware in your back.

Who We Help

Care built for this stage of life.

Most of our older patients aren’t chasing a number on a pain scale. They want one specific thing back — a hobby, an errand, a full night’s sleep — and that’s what we build the plan around.

Staying Active
Keep doing what you love.
Golf, gardening, walking the neighborhood, picking up a grandchild. When stiffness starts quietly trimming those off the list, the goal isn’t just less pain — it’s getting the list back.

Ongoing Conditions
Arthritis, stenosis, worn discs.
Conditions that won’t simply go away can still be managed. We work on the restriction and nerve pressure making them hurt more than they need to — and we’re straight with you about what care can and can’t change.

Balance & Confidence
Steadier on your feet.
Restricted movement through the neck, hips, and mid-back changes how you move and how sure you feel doing it. Getting that motion back is part of moving through a day without thinking about every step.

From Our Patients

What our San Antonio patients say.

Verified five-star Google reviews.

Neck & Herniated Discs
★★★★★

“I have had neck issues from old herniated discs for years… I had exhausted all my other options, and having a bunch of hardware in my neck is not an option for me. I came in with pain at an 11 and an inability to get out of bed… I’ve only been coming for a month and I’m feeling so much better — my range of motion and pain are amazingly improved. I am sleeping better.”

Conditions We Treat

What brings older adults through our door.

Most of these have been building for years, and most have been waved off at least once as just part of getting older. The longer they run, the more the rest of you compensates around them — which is why they’re worth a proper look now.

What to Expect

Your first visit, step by step.

Three steps, at a pace that lets you take it in and ask questions as you go.

1
A Real Conversation
We start with your history: what you can’t do comfortably any more, what’s already been tried, which medications you’re on, and what surgeries are in the picture. Most of what we need comes out of this conversation, not off a form.
2
A Thorough Look
A physical exam, a nerve scan, and digital X-rays when they’re needed. An older spine carries a history, and we’d rather see it than guess at it from wherever the pain happens to sit today.
3
Your Findings, In Plain English
We show you what we found, what’s realistically fixable, and roughly how long it should take. If chiropractic isn’t the right answer for you, we’ll say so and point you toward what is.

Senior Chiropractic FAQs

Questions older adults ask us most.

Yes — we’re in-network with Medicare. Before your first visit our team checks your specific plan and tells you exactly what you’ll pay, so there’s nothing for you to work out on your own. For the record: Part B covers chiropractic adjustments to correct a spinal subluxation, while exams, X-rays and ongoing maintenance care are billed separately.
It’s the question we’re asked most, and it’s the reason we use the technique we do. Torque Release Technique is delivered by a handheld instrument — a precise, low-force contact on one segment at a time, with nothing forceful about it. We also take digital X-rays before adjusting where appropriate, so we’re working from what your bones actually look like. Tell us about your bone density and it’ll shape what we recommend — including whether we recommend it at all.
No. There’s no twisting of the neck or torso in how we practice, and nothing sudden. Most patients describe the adjustment as a light tap or a bit of pressure. If being cracked is what’s kept you away from chiropractors, this is a genuinely different experience — and you’ll be walked through every step before it happens.
Often yes, but it depends entirely on what was done and where. Fusions, plates, screws, and joint replacements all change how we approach a spine, and we won’t work near hardware without knowing exactly what’s there. Bring any imaging or operative reports you have. If we can’t treat you safely, we’ll tell you straight.
No. Care is matched to the body in front of us, not to a date of birth. What changes with age is how we go about it — lower force, closer attention to bone density and previous surgeries, and goals built around what you want to keep doing rather than a number on a scan.
Tell us when you book and we’ll plan for it. Our team helps patients on and off the table every day, and adjustments can be modified for anyone who can’t lie flat or needs to stay seated. Nobody’s expected to manage on their own.
